After experimenting with many forms of physical exercise throughout my life, I found my way to hot yoga 17 years ago to alleviate chronic back pain. As I began to understand the power of synchronizing movement with breath, my appreciation for yoga and my practice continued to evolve and deepen. After 10 years of practicing hot yoga, I enrolled in a non-heated Yoga Works 200hr teacher training course through the Yoga Balance studio in Manchester, NH to expand my knowledge of the history and philosophy of yoga as well as the physical asana practice. After completing my certification in 2020, I began teaching Gentle and Align classes at Yoga Balance. I love designing my classes to integrate and explore the many facets of yoga, and meeting my students where they’re at in each class. I believe in practicing self love by taking the time to come to your mat - pause, breathe, move and make that connection to your true self.
