This Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Reiki workshop will begin with a gentle, slow, still

style of yoga that involves long holds in a series of restful poses while your body is fully

supported with the use of props that include bolsters, blankets and blocks. Props help

enhance and deepen the experience of the poses to achieve a supported state of total

relaxation and release.  

Restorative yoga helps balance the mind and body, relieve tension and anxiety, and can

improve the immune system. Long held, supported resting poses cultivate the condition

to deeply release any tension in the body.

While you are supported, you will receive Reiki, an energy healing exchange to help

unlock energy flow and balance within the body. This is another technique that

enhances relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety promoting the body’s ability to heal.

To deepen your blissful state of being, you end with a Yoga Nidra, Yogic sleep,

effortless relaxation. This is a guided meditation bringing you to a state of

consciousness between being awake and asleep that calms your nervous system

"The Full Moon represents completion, the height of power, the realization of your desires and the peak of clarity. During this time we are encouraged to reflect on our journey and how far we have come, to celebrate our growth and to release what no longer serves us. Join Amanda Bryan, Reiki Master on March 18, 6-8pm for Reiki and Restore. During this workshop we will practice Restorative Yoga, where the body rests and releases into supported yoga poses while receiving Reiki energy healing.

At the end of class we will participate in a Full Moon Meditation and write a Full Moon Release letter. Please bring a journal, paper, and pen. You are welcome to bring a crystal that you enjoy working with, but it's not necessary. Come ready to release and receive in this beautiful healing ritual.
