Alex Carbone 🤝
After years of intermittent yoga practice, I started my consistent yoga journey at a time when my body and mind needed it most. Overwhelmed by a shoulder injury, the stress of a new job, and the loss of my mom to a battle with cancer- the gifts of yoga and the community at the Exeter studio brought incredible light to a time of darkness. On my mat, I was able to fulfill the need for a physical challenge, discover the power of calming breath, and connect to my higher self. Growing up in the town of Exeter, “community” has always been both a prominent and integral value in my life. I am excited for the opportunity to share the power of yoga with those of all backgrounds, lifestyles, and yoga experience levels. My classes are intended to challenge both the body and the mind. Together, we build heat, energy, and community by connecting intentional breath to authentic movement. As always, my verbal cues are merely suggestions for a practice that is ultimately guided by you on your mat. When I am not practicing or teaching in the studio, I am working as a registered nurse, volunteer coaching soccer and track and field at Exeter High School, and spending time outside with friends and family.
Come as you are. Take what you need. Leave what is holding you back.
