Lauren Cowan
I began practicing Yin Yoga in my late teens as a way to relieve stress. Over time, I realized that Yoga can offer so much more for my physical and mental health, so my practice deepened. I began working as a Studio Assistant at YogaBalance for a few years and took as many classes as I could. Eventually, I graduated college and knew my next step was the RYT-200hour YogaWorks Teacher Training Program offered at YogaBalance in 2019. I began teaching shortly thereafter and received my certification for Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra in 2023. I love exploring many different styles in my personal practice, from Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra to Power Vinyasa and even Kitten Yoga. The Yoga community is where I feel most at home. When I am not practicing or teaching yoga I am spending time with my family, cat, and pup. I love the New Hampshire seasons and how I spend my days shifts with them. I teach alignment-based Yoga to help strengthen and open, utilizing props every chance I get.
