Souka Mead
I’ve been practicing yoga since I was six, and over the years, it has deeply enriched my life. Teaching was a natural step, and I feel honored to guide others on their yoga journeys. I earned my 500-hour (2021) and 200-hour (2020) certifications from YogaWorks®, learning from respected teachers in the field. I’ve been teaching since February 2020, and remain a lifelong student, committed to deepening my practice every day. I’ve experienced many styles of asana, including Vinyasa Flow, Bikram, Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative. I’ve also completed training in Yoga & Mindfulness for Athletes, Prenatal Yoga, and Restorative Yoga - Yoga Nidra. In my classes, you can expect a mix of challenge and fun—mentally and physically—with love and humor always present. Off the mat, I enjoy running, cooking, and traveling. I believe yoga is for everybody and every body, and I’m excited to continue sharing this practice with my students.
